MAHALIR THITTAM

Introduction

Mahalir Thittam is a government project run by the Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women (TNCDW) Limited.  BLOSSOM TRUST has been registered under Mahalir Thittam since 2000.  The main goal of this project is to develop the economic status of women in rural communities. We are forming self help groups in the areas of Virudhunagar and Sivakasi in order to promote women’s socio-economical well being. We also provide Animator & Representative (A&R) training to update activities, improve group relationships and account management skills.  We also establish links with banks in order to secure loans for income generation.
